Lifestyle Questionnaire

Tell us a little bit about how you keep fit year round.

I am a bike messenger in Chicago, so I'm often pedalling from 6am until 6pm Monday-Friday. In my free time I join a game of soccer in the park, and I've recently started rock climbing (indoors usually, real rocks whenever I get the chance).

What is your diet like? Any special requirements?

My diet is controlled by two things: convenience and portability.

What motivates you to stay fit and healthy?

As a self-employed bike messenger I get paid per delivery, so I am financially motivated to keep fit. I'm always looking for ways to push myself, both on the bike and in my free time.

Protein Powder

Why did you decide to start incorporating protein powder into your diet?

While I'm out making deliveries I'm drinking water constantly. I recently had the genius idea to put at least one meal or snack each day into that water bottle which would eliminate a 15-20 minute food stop.

Why did you choose EidoPro Protein Powder?

I mentioned to a group of friends that I was looking for a protein powder to add to water. One of my friends who practically lives in the gym told me that EidoPro is hands down the best protein powder out there for dissolving quickly in water and tasting neutral. I don't have much time to spend researching protein powders so his recommendation was all I needed. So far I'm very pleased with it.

How do you use EidoPro Protein Powder now?

I add 1 scoop EidoPro Protein Powder to my water bottle every single morning and stick it in the holder on my bike. It is usually gone before 10am. Sometimes I add another scoop to the bottle, or a smoothie if I'm going to be having a late dinner. There is actually a local smoothie shop on my route that will blend in a scoop of EidoPro for me when I buy a smoothie.

Total miles: 413. This was a pretty typical week for me, I usually average between 400 and 450 miles. Looking back at my meals for the week, I realized 2 things: I need to eat more vegetables, and I eat WAY too much sushi. Keep following us on twitter - next week we're going overseas with Heather!
